Improvement in Design for Sand Drain Foundation

  • Computation of the degree of consolidation for any depth is used instead of the consolidation computation of perpendicular drainage in sand drain foundation. It is appropriate to actual condition. A group of charts of three dimensional consolidation computation in sand drain foundation is presented, and selection of parameters used for design is suggested.
