Series of prototype and models very close to prototype were tested for lateral bearing capacity of pile group. Effects of interaction among piles, restraint of pile top, lateral resistance of cap and friction of cap bottom were analyzed. Method of evaluation of comprehensive effect coefficient for lateral bearing capacity of pile group are presented. The comparison between calculated and measured values shows that this method is feasible and simple.
