Determining the Max. Dry Density of Coarse Grained Sandy Gravels by the Method of Curve- Fitting with Asymptotic Line

In this paper, a method of curve fitting with asymptotic line is proposed for reducing the error of extrapolation value. This method is applied to determine the max. dry density of coarse grained Sandy gravels to decrease the error existed in extrapolation by means of similar gradation model extension method introduced by Chinese Geotechnical Test Code1 and the other related method.
