Abstract
Based on the One-dimensional wave theory of the soil-structure dynamic interaction and on the approximate correction for the two-dimensional effects, the mechanism for dynamic matching in measuring the dynamic stress in the soil with the soil pressure transducer is studied in this paper, and the errors in dynamic matching are quantita tively estimated. Moreover, the results are compared with those obtained by the finite element method, and verified by the experimental data. Some suggestions on the suitable model of the dynamic soil pressure transducer and on the method of determining parameters of wave forms are also presented
