The Fracturing-grouting of Xibu Earth Dam

By the observation of the in-situ fracturing-grouting tests of Xibu Dam, the variational processes of the pore water, earth and grouting pressures, cracking, deformation of the dam, consolidations of the dam and slurry etc. are presented in this paper. The regularities on the fracturing-grouting are preliminarily described. The formulae for controlling the fracturing-grouting pressure and contraction of the slurry are given, and the reasonable proposals are also presented so as to improve the technology and increase the effect of the grouting.
