High  Pressure  Permeability  Test  at  Tianhuangping    Pumped  Storage  Power  Station

High  pressure  permeability  test  in  a  drillhole  at  Tianhuangping  was  carried  out  as  feasibility  studies  for  manifolds  with  no  steel  lining.    The  maximum  testing  pressure  was  10MPa.    Test  results  show  that  the  average  initial  stresses  in  the  rock  are  great  enough  to  build  a  manifold  with  no  steel  linig.    But  in  some  places,  the  stresses  are  not  great  enough  and  the  leakage  through  the  surrounding  rock  mass  is  rather  great.    So  proper  measures  should  be  taken  to  improve  the  situation.
