Influence of effective stress on mechanical behaviors of prestressed pipe piles

  • The influence of effective stress of prestressed concrete pipe piles on mechanical properties and the related parameters of the hollow piles are studied. The results show that with the improvement of the effective precompressed concrete stress, the mechanical properties of the prestressed hollow piles and the related parameters increase accordingly, and the crack-resistant bending moment increases the most. The effective preloading stress of concrete can be regarded as a standard of pile classification. The value is the important index for formulated technical regulations of prestressed hollow pile industry and related atlas.
