Abstract
The reasons of the work noise and high labor intensity of operators are found through the analysis of periodic motion of the original frog-hammer for soft ground treatment. The electromotor drives a pair of eccentric blocks for the opposite direction rotation with equal angular velocity, which generates counteract horizontal centrifugal forces, so that the noise at work and labor intensity of workers are reduced. In addition, the flexibility of walking is improved with the installation of rollers in the chassis. The present transformation has features of simple structure, easy manufacture, and good application prospects for construction machinery.
