Robust optimization design of anti-slide piles with prestressed anchor cables

  • The robust optimization design is the combination of the robust design with the optimization technique and the computer science. It has become a focus of engineering robust design study at present. The project design according to this method assures the robustness of project quality at the stage of design and solves the problem with multi-variables and multi-objectives by using mathematical models and existing methods. Aimed to the shortage of orthogonal design, the orthogonal design is substituted by the uniform design, and the horizontal displacement at top of anti-slide piles with prestressed anchor cables under various possible combinations of parameters is calculated by use of professional design software. Through multiple regression analysis, function model (xi) is substituted by the regression model y(xi) which is regarded as the objective function. The design parameters are taken as the optimization variables, and the codes or contract requirements are taken as the restrictive conditions. On such a basis, a new robust optimization design method of anti-slide piles with prestressed anchor cables based on the robust design principle and optimization theory is put forward. Taking the slope in Kunluo Road K1+440~K1+780 as an example, the present method is described based on language MATLAB.
