Abstract
Coastal saline soil is a special soil with poor engineering properties such as collapsible and corrosive. How to treat it as a resource for roadbed fillings have been one of the important geotechnical engineering topics in the highway construction of coastal areas. An experimental research on coastal saline soils stabilized by lime, cement and a new polymeric solidified material of SH was conducted. The influences of multiple factors, including curing ages, hydrated water types, soaking water types and soil salt contents,on the unconfined compressive strengths and water-related stability of stabilized saline soils were discussed. It was shown that unconfined compressive strength and water-related stability of stabilized coastal saline soils attained corresponding engineering standards and that it could be used as roadbed fillings.
