Abstract
Based on the analytical model of pipe roof applied to the shallow excavation in soft ground,the sensitivity equation of displacement,induced by released load,with respect to the inertia moment of pipe roof was developed.The sensitivity of displacement with respect to moment of inertia of pipe roof and its influential factors were analyzed.It was demonstrated that,when diameter of pipe roof varied from 79 to 108 mm,the sensitivity of displacement varied violently.When pipe diameter was larger than 108 mm,the sensitivity of displacement varied slightly.When the diameter of pipe roof was 159 mm,the increase on diameter had no effect for the displacement.In the pipe–support system,ground condition had more effect on sensitivity of displacement than the support.
