Improvement on stability analysis of soil nailing in foundation excavations and its software development

  • Under the situation of considering soil nailing effects, stability analysis of soil sailing wall was improved, and the function relation between safety factor and position of centre of circular sliding surface was derived. The region of centre of circular slip surface was determined by computers, and the centre of the most dangerous silding surface was searched dynamically by method of lattice. Using object-oriented programming language VC++, and according to Technical Specification for Retaining and Protection of Building Foundation Excavations—JGJ 120-99, design software for soil nailing wall was developed. Tensile strength of soil nailing was calculated, and stability of soil sailing wall at each excavation stage was analyzed. Finally, an engineering project was designed and analyzed by this software, and some problems were further discussed and analyzed in the design of soil nail wall. It is a useful reference for engineers.
