Experimental studies on composite foundation with sparse PTC piles to control settlement

The field tests were done to investigate working mechanism and mechanical behavior of the settlement, bearing capacity control settlement, load transfer, pile-soil stress ratio and pile-soil interaction of composite foundation with sparse PTC piles to control settlement under high fill embankment. The test results can provide useful information for the study on the theory of control settlement and composite foundation with sparse PTC piles and a guide to its engineering design.
