Structural design of lining and parameter analysis for DOT shield tunnel

Abstract
On the basis of reviewing of lining structure design models for shield tunnel, lining structural computing model and design parameters for DOT (Double-O-Tube) shield tunnel are discussed in this paper. The result shows that different computing models such as the revised-conventional method and the beam-spring model etc. can meet the engineering design requirements; the reasonability and match of related computing parameters are more important factors for lining structural computation of DOT shield tunnel. The sensitivity of the design parameters on computed results of lining structure is different. The shoulder ground pressure plays an important role on computed results for DOT shield tunnel, its absence will result in unsafe result. Therefore, among all load conditions, the shoulder ground pressure should neither be simplified nor neglected.
