Abstract
The influences of cement content, density, water content and age on the deformation behavior of the light heterogeneous soil are studied based on the uniaxial and triaxial stress-strain curves. The type of stress-strain curves is that of strain hardening with different cell pressures, but the principal stress difference varies with variation of confining pressure. The results of tests indicates that a hyperbolic model and a flexible-linear hardening model can reasonably simulate the stress-strain relations under uniaxial and triaxial stresses conditions respectively.
