Abstract
In this paper, the experimental study of seepage stability, internal erosion deformation and seepage stability relationship among cushion layer, transition zone, rock-fill zone and drainage filter of un-scale sandy gravel is implemented by means of the large-size consolidation seepage apparatus. Moreover, a new type sealing structure of peripheral joint of concrete face is introduced. Finally, based on engineering practices, a series of engineering measures, which can effectively reduce the cracks of concrete face,assure the filling quality of dam and accelerate the construction process in the cold,drought and windy region,is summarized and some suggestions are pointed out. Obviously, these are helpful to the construction of similar projects in the future.
