Study on microseismic monitoring for spatial structure of overlying strata and mining pressure field in longwall face

  • This paper introduces the relationship between spatial structure of overlying strata and mining pressure field in longwall face revealed by microseismic monitoring techniques. The authors come to conclusions as follows :There are four kinds of rock mass fractures induced by mining. This paper presents three kinds of relations between rock mass fractures and mining pressure fields matching to three kinds of mining borders. The authors point out the method of how to decide the stability of coal pillar according to microseismic monitoring results.
