Abstract
The typical tests indicate that the characteristic of a granular soil depends mainly on its tectonic levels(density or void ratio, anisotropy content),mutiply phase contents (saturated or quasicsaturated),the applied loading,stress ratio and volumetric constraints. The plane strain elastoplastic effective stress constitutive model is used to saturated sand according to dynamic deformation and failure effects. The analysis module are programmed and interfaced with the FLAC code. The good agreement of the experimental results and numerical results of the wave propagation in saturated sand using the FLAC code indicate that the presented model and the code are available and effective.
