Application of grouting technology to the layer of pulverized coal ash on ground of Zishan

Pulverized coal ash is hydraulically filled on ground of Zishan.Its grains were fine as silty sand.On the basis of experiment of grouting and construction,a new type of curtain grouting-horizontal or approximately horizontal,continuous,circular"thin layer of concrete"is found.It could grout in horizontal layer,enlarged permeating diameter and increased permeating gradient.This paper analyzed the cause of formation of "the thin layer of concrete"and discussed the mechanism of grouting.
