A Gauss curve model on shear stress along anchoring section of anchoring rope of extensional force type

  • Shear stress of anchoring rope(rod)of extensiona l force type is une venly distributed along anchoring section. Distribution curve of the shear stre ss is a unimodal curve with 0 as progressive line. According to fitting measured data in anchoring rope and anchoring rod engineering of different type, it is e xplained that describing distribution curve of shear stress along anchoring sect ion with a Gauss curve (a normal frequency distribution curve) of 3 parameters i s suitable. Characteristic values (maximum value ,inflection point and int egration value)of the curve are studied too. Further, effective length of the s ection and its coefficient of safety are discussed.
