Behavior of arched cantilever retaining structures in foundation pits

The behavior of arch cantilever retaining structure is analyzed. The influence factors include the embedded depth, the character of soil under the bottom of excavation, the shape of arch, the stiffness of buttress, and so on. The influence of these factors, which are important to guide the design and application of arch cantilever retaining structure, are illuminated in detail in this paper.
