Application of genetic algorithms in the optimizaion of soil-nail bracing

On the basis of the limit equilibrium method of the soil nailing bracing,using the genetic algorithms,we suggest a method which can optimize the design of the soil nail. An example of the soil nailing is calculated by the proposed computer programs, which indicates that this method is feasible.
