A new constitutive model of the layered rock mass reinforced with bolts

A new constitutive model of rock mass is proposed by regarding the layered rock mass reinforced with bolts as an equivalent continuum.By taking into account the shear swelling of joint and the lateral resistance of bolt,the new model improves the defects of constitutive models presented by other authors before.According to the new model,it is possible to evaluate the reinforcement efficiency of bolts in layered rock mass.
