Influence of fatigue loading on physical mechanical characteristics of rock

Fatigue loading experiment is conducted on MTS.From the results it can be gained that the modulus,Poisson’s ratio and wave velocity of Nanjing sandstone non linearly increase as frequency rising,and the strength is obviously anisotropic.Saturated marble is obviously effected by the amplitude and frequency of applied stress,and is also anisotropic.The influence of stress amplitude on marble is much larger than that of frequency.
