New consideration on nonlinear and dilatancy deformation characteristics of soils
Based on analyzing the deformation characteristics of soils, a unit expression, including the property of nonlinear, shear contraction and dilatation, compression and back expansion, is provided by investigating further the relation between shear and volume strain.
