Abstract
With the increasing tension in the international arena, the anti-explosion safety of important infrastructures has attracted increasing attention. For the study on underwater explosion, the centrifugal model tests are an important method to study the damage effects by underwater explosion as the shock wave and bubble oscillation of the underwater explosion can satisfy similarity at the hyper gravity field. Based on the practical experience for the past ten years in centrifuge modeling of underwater explosion, the system composition of the related equipment is introduced. The technical indices of the equipment are presented. The vibrations of the centrifuge and container are monitored by two model tests. The results show that: (1) The impact response by explosion of the centrifuge spindle is small, which is basically the same as the vibration velocity under the normal operating conditions. The influences of explosion on the overall stability of the centrifuge can be ignored. (2) The impact acceleration and vibration velocity of the platform are large, and the impact response to the lifting lugs can be reduced by arranging high-elastic rubber at the bottom of the model. (3) The deformation of the container is basically in the elastic range, and the long side of the container should be supported in the span to reduce the deformation in the center. The bots should be used to increase the stability of the support of the side wall of the container.
