Abstract
The anti-slide pile with anchored bolt is an effective structure for reinforcing side slopes. The centrifugal model tests are conducted to compare the unreinforced slope with the anchor-pile-reinforced one under drawdown conditions. The histories of displacement of slopes are measured. The behavior of the anti-slide pile with anchored bolt and the distribution of strain of soil are analyzed. The test results show that the anti-slide pile with anchored bolt significantly reduces the displacement of landslide, changes the continuity of slip surface and causes obvious progressive failure behavior. Under the drawdown conditions, the failure process of the anchor-pile-reinforced slope exhibits significant coupling with the deformation localization. The anti-slide pile with anchored bolt homogenizes slope deformation and resists the displacement of soil, therefore delaying the failure of side slopes.
