Abstract
Taking the high loess slope with a slope of 45°and a slope height of 100 m in Linfen-Jixian Expressway area of Shanxi Province as an example, different stratigraphic stratification methods are studied. The models for four stratification methods are established by using the SLOPE/W software, and the limit equilibrium method(Morgenstern-Price method)is used to solve the stability coefficients of different models. The influences of different stratification methods on the stability of the high loess slope are explored to obtain the optimal stratigraphic stratification methods. The analysis results show that the stability coefficients calculated by different stratigraphic stratification methods are different. With the increase of the number of stratifications, the larger the stability coefficient is, the better the slope stability is.In addition, through comprehensive comparative analysis, the method for dividing the loess strata according to the geological era can meet the research needs of construction engineering field. Moreover, less workload can improve efficiency and save cost, which is more significant for the calculation and analysis of the stability of high loess slopes.
