  • 摘要: 本文提出一种土分类的研究方法,并为我国地基基础设计规范的土分类系统给出了一些修改的建议。 大量资料证实,在低塑性土中可发现假塑性现象。根据这种假塑性现象,笔者注意到在自然界存在着一种过渡性土类,它与砂土或粘性土相比都具有独特的性质。这种过渡性土类可称为粉土。 笔者建议将大于0.074mm颗粒含量50%作为砂性土与粉土的界限值,小于50%为粉土。 粉土的塑性指数一般小于10,但阿太堡界限是否适用于作为评价粉土的指标是值得怀疑的。

     

    Abstract: In this paper, an approach to research on soils classification is developed, and a recommendation is presented for the soils classification system in Foundation Design Code of China.It is indicated by large amount of experimental data that the pseudo-plasticity phenomenon often appears in soil of low-plasticity. Based on the hypothesis of pseudo-plasticity, the writers have found that there exists a transitional type of soils, which can be called silt, with their characteristics quite different from sandy and clayey soils.The writers suggest that the soils cantaining less than 50% of particles which are coarse than 0.074mm should be defined as silt.The plasticity index of silt is in general less than 10, but whether Atterberg limits can be used as indices for such soils is doubtful.
