Determination of the Preconsolidation Pressure by CRL Consolidation Test

  • 摘要: 本文利用计算机对等加荷速率(CRL)固结试验过程进行了模拟分析,并采用“栓塞效应”理论解释了在先期固结压力Pc附近孔隙水压力分布及其土样变形速率的变化特征。计算分析及大量的试验结果都表明,在CRL试验条件下,试样的变形速率-平均有效应力曲线在Pc附近会出现典型的波动变化。进一步分析证实,这种现象与Pc有唯一确定的关系。本文分析了产生这种波动现象的原因和机理,并由此提出利用CRL试验的变形速率-平均有效应力曲线确定先期固结压力Pc的方法。

     

    Abstract: In this paper, the process of continuous loading consolidation under the constant rate loading is analysed by FDM; and the characteristics of the pore pressure distribution in the sample and deformation rate of the sample near the preconsolidation pressure are explained according to Tavenas' plug theory. A great deal of results from computer simulation and experiments show that a typical fluctuation appears on the curve of the sample deformation rate versus the average effective pressure, which is obviously interrelated to the preconsolidation pressure. Mechanism leading to the fluctuation phenomenon is discussed and a method of determining the preconsolidation pressure is advanced,
