On Some Factors Influencing the Uniaxial Tensile Strength of Cohesive Compacted Fill

  • 摘要: 本文就粘性填土单轴抗拉强度的几个影响因素:循环加卸荷载、干容重与含水量、加荷速率进行了试验研究。1.试验发现循环加卸荷载对填土单轴抗拉强度值没有什么影响,不会出现“疲劳极限”。但却明显地表现出非线性的应力-应变关系。破坏的应变值较大。文中还叙述了循环加卸荷载作用下的应变特点。2.含水量与干容重对单轴抗拉强度的影响显著。试验得出,在略小于最优含水量时出现最大抗拉强度值。3.加荷速率不同,单轴抗拉强度值也不同。

     

    Abstract: This paper deals with an experimental investigation on some factors influencing the uniaxial tensile strength of the cohesive compacted fill. These factors are the periodical loading, the initial density, the initial water content and the loading rate.1. It is found that there is no influence of the periodical loading on the uniaxial tensile strength, and no "fatigue limit" occurred. However, the relation between the stress and the strain is nonlinear. The characteristics of the strain are discussed.2. The water content and the dry density, have some significant effect on the uniaxial tensile strength. The tensile strength reaches its maximum value while the water content less than its optimum value.3. Different loading rate gives different uniaxial tensile strength.
