Compressibility of sand with particle crushing effect and its mathematical description

  • 摘要: 许多岩土工程问题需要考虑颗粒土在高应力条件下的变形问题。利用文献中的试验数据,对砂土在包括高应力区的宽广应力范围内的力学特性进行了分析归纳,提出了一个能够唯像描述包括颗粒破碎效应的砂土压缩特性的计算公式。该公式只包含4个材料参数。通过对砂土压缩试验数据的拟合,表明了公式的有效性,文中还讨论了公式参数的确定方法。

     

    Abstract: Deformation characteristics of granular soils at high stress levels have to be taken into consideration in many geotechnical engineering problems. The characteristics of granular soils in compression tests are analyzed and discussed based on the experimental data from the literatures. A compression model with 4 parameters is proposed for description of the compression behaviours of granular soils in a wide range of stress, including in the very high stress regime with particle crushing effect. The model performance is demonstrated by fitting the experimental data with the relevant values for the parameters. Determination of the model parameters is also discussed.
