A solution of Gibson’s governing equation of one-dimensional consolidation

  • 摘要: 引入修正的迎风差分格式,采用显式差分法直接求得了Gibson一维有限固结方程的差分解答,编制了计算程序JEFD01,并以曾被美国9所院校一起分别预测的佛罗里达州磷酸盐矿业尾矿污泥池固结沉降项目为案例,验证了该差分方程及计算程序的可靠性和适用性。进一步分析得到,固结预测时,未完成自重固结的饱和欠固结土不能“忽略自重”,即不能假定B值为零。

     

    Abstract: A solution to calculate the Gibson’s governing equation of one-dimensional consolidation of soft soil is presented, which is developed from an explicit finite difference method by a modified upwind difference form. The relevant program JEFD01 is prepared. The case of the Florida phosphate industry waste ponds in U.S.A., which was predicted together by nine institutes or universities, is taken to verify the liability and the usefulness of the solution. From the further analysis, it has proven that the self-weight of the underconsolidation soft soil cannot be negligible, that is, the value of B cannot be denoted to be zero.
