土石坝水力劈裂发生机理及模型试验研究

Mechanism analysis and model test of hydraulic fracturing in embankment dams

  • 摘要: 探讨了心墙堆石坝心墙发生水力劈裂的机理,认为在土石坝心墙中可能存在的渗水弱面以及在水库快速蓄水过程中所产生的弱面水压楔劈效应为心墙发生水力劈裂的重要条件。基于上述思想,研制了一种新型的研究水压力沿渗透软弱面渗入土体形成水压楔劈效应并诱导发生水力劈裂现象的试验装置,采用糯扎渡高心墙堆石坝心墙混合土料进行了水力劈裂试验。研究结果证实了所提出的渗透软弱面水压楔劈效应作用模型的正确性。

     

    Abstract: The mechanism of hydraulic fracturing of the core of earth core dams was investigated,and it was considered that the potential permeable weak links and wedging action of water pressure due to rapid reservoir filling were the important conditions of the propagation of hydraulic fracturing in the dam core.A new type of apparatus was developed for testing hydraulic fracturing caused by wedging action due to the pressure of water entering the weak links of soils.A series of tests were performed to study the wedging action of water pressure in the permeable weak links and the induced action for hydraulic fracturing with the mixed core materials in Nuozhadu High Earth Core Dam.The test results verified the reasonableness of the aforementioned considerations.
