基于数字图像技术的黏性土颗粒形状分析

Particle shape analysis of clay based on digital image technology

  • 摘要: 土的宏观物理力学性质与其微观颗粒形状有着密切的关系,以天津港地区的典型黏性土为研究对象,采用数字图像技术对其颗粒形状特性进行了分析研究,得到以下结论:①土样的长径比主要集中到1~2,并且随着细颗粒含量的增加,土颗粒整体的长径比逐渐降低,细长形的颗粒逐渐减小,土颗粒越趋向于规则状;②土样的圆形度主要集中在0.9~1.0,并且颗粒越细,土样的整体圆形度越大,土颗粒的形状越趋向于圆形;③土样具有较好的粗糙度分形特性,并且颗粒越细,这种分形特性表现的越明显,其中黏土、粉质黏土、粉土的颗粒表面粗糙度分形维数分别为0.9590,0.9574,0.9654,这说明土颗粒越细,其表面起伏越小,表面越光滑。

     

    Abstract: The macro-physical and mechanical properties of clay are closely related to its micro-particle shape. The typical soft clay in Tianjin Port area of China is taken as the research object, and its particle shape characteristics are analyzed and studied by the digital image technology. The main conclusions are as follows: (1) The ratio of long to short diameter of soil samples is mainly concentrated between 1 and 2, and the ratio of soil particles gradually decreases with the increase of fine particle content. Moreover the slender particles gradually decrease, and the soil particles tend to be regular. (2) The roundness of soil samples mainly concentrates between 0.9~1.0, and the finer the particles, the larger the overall roundness of soil samples, the more rounded the shape of soil particles. (3) The fractal dimension of the surface roughness of clay, silty clay and silt is 0.9590, 0.9574 and 0.9654, respectively, which indicates that the finer the soil particles are, the smaller the surface fluctuation is and the smoother the surface is.
