Abstract:
This paper studies the random displacement field in a stochastic materials, focusing particularly on the lining of a circular opening in geologic materials with random elastic properties. A pseudo analytic solution is deduced, including the expression of random displacement and its statistical characteristics, based on perturbation method and stochastic potential principle. The results clearly indicate that the random displacement is related not only to the properties of the random media, but also to the position in the random space.
