Abstract: ln this paper,a dynamic piotoelastic method is applied to investigate the dynamic responses of circu1arring under in1pact lcad with various support conditions,and the stress wave prdpagation as well as the dynamic stressdistribution of split circular ring and its variation with various materlal medium inlaid in split.An exserimental studyof inlaid clrcular ring under impact force on interlor handary is prewted too.
