Abstract: Centrifugal model tests for earth-rock dam and concrete cut-off wall built in deep overburdenin Pobugou Project under conditions of sudden drawdown of reservoir level and earthquake after com-pletion and reservoir storage are described. Values of stress and strain in diflerent dam heights and atdifferent parts of cut-off wall are measured and compared with those calculated by finite elementmethod and observed from prototype of some projects.
