A Structure Theory for Collapsing Deformation of Loess Soils

  • 摘要: 关于黄土湿陷变形的理论,有过各种各样的假说,如毛管假说、溶盐假说、胶体不足说、水膜楔入说以及欠压密理论等。从物理学、物理化学和地质学等各个方面对湿陷变形的原因作了解释,它们能说明问题的一个方面,但却都不能充分地解释所有的湿陷现象和变形本质。本文就是要在剖析各种假说(理论)基础上探索黄土湿陷变形的结构原因和应用结构理论来说明黄土湿陷变形的现象和本质。

     

    Abstract: There have been various hypotheses and theories concerning the collapsing deformation of loess soils, e.g. capillary effect, salt dissolution assumption, clay-colloidal shortage hypothesis, water-film wedge action and under-compaction theory. They partly explain the collapsing phenomenon in terms of physics, physico-chemical or geological mechanisms. However, these hypotheses or theories didn’ t fully expound the intrinsic nature of collapsing deformation phenomenon of loess soils.In this paper the collapsing deformation of loess soils is analyzed and a structure theory for collapsing loess soils is proposed on the basis of analyses of all these hypotheses or theories, and then all phenomena and mechanisms of collapsing deformation of loess soils are clarified by the structure theory.
