Subgrade Compaction of Residual Cohesive Soils with High Water Contents

  • 摘要: 本文讨论了高含水量残积粘性土生成的自然条件、结构组成和压实特性。这类土压实后的强度是稠度、密实度、组构的综合反映,应以选定土的稠度值及相应最佳压实功时的强度值控制路基压实质量,并按正确的压实工艺施工.

     

    Abstract: The natural conditions, structural compositions and compactive characteristics formed in residual cohesive soils with high water contents are discussed in this paper. The strengths of these kinds of soils after compaction are the comprehensive reflections of consistency, density and texture, therefore, it is necessary to control the quality of subgrade compaction by choosing values of soil consistency and strength corresponding to optimum compactive effort, and conduct construction in accordance with proper compaction process.
