The Application of an Empirical Formula of Pore Space and Porosity Ratio of Soil to Foundation Engineering

  • 摘要: 过去我们利用土壤于容重和孔隙度之间的高相关关系,建立了一个土壤孔隙度经验公式。经过在农业土壤学方面的使用,证明它在生产单位和非精密性研究中具有实用价值,是一个精度高、误差小、既经济又简便的计算式,现已广泛应用。通过本文的讨论,试图引起土力学和土质学界的重视。

     

    Abstract: On the basis of a high correlation coefficient of the relationship between dry bulk density and porosity of soil, the empirical formula of porosity of soil has been established. It's application to the fields of agriculture and soil science for more than ten years it has a practical value in production and research, and it is a convenient formula with high accuracy, economy and easy to apply. At the present it has been found wide use.In the process of discussion of this paper, we attempt to draw attention of scientists and engineers in the fields of geotechnical engineering,soil mechanics and soil technology, it is sincerely hoped that they can make research on this formula.
