Abstract:
Based on the description of the development trends and the engineering application status of the new technology of the soil displacement screw pile (SDSP) in China, three calculation methods and their applicable conditions for the ultimate bearing capacity of SDSP are expounded. Additionally, the results of the three calculation methods are analyzed comparatively based on the field test data in Beijing and Shandong Province in China. The analysis results show that the calculation method of China Jingye (2010) and the empirical parameter method of SDSP in the technical code of Shandong Province are the most simple and practical methods for SDSP in China.
