Abstract:
It’s very critical to select the appropriate wave theory for the dynamic response of wind power at sea, and it even relates to the success or failure of the project. Based on applications of various wave theories and combined with the measured data of hydrology of the wind power form near East Sea Bridge, the results of the relationship among wave length, water depth and wave height as well as the variations of velocity, acceleration and wave force in the same period are analyzed. The fifth order Stokes waves are selected after the comparison. According to the measuring data of hydrology and foundation parameters of the wind power form near East Sea Bridge, the wave forces exerting on the straight and inclined piles are compared, and the effect on the wave force of the tidal currents is analyzed.
