黏性土渠道边坡的形成方式对滑坡的影响

  • 摘要: 黏性土渠道的运行期,挖方边坡比填方边坡更容易发生滑坡。土的密度愈大,开挖愈深,则挖方渠道边坡在运用过程中膨胀和强度降低愈多,其失稳的可能性就愈大。膨胀土加剧了强度降低的幅度。开裂硬黏土既加快强度降低的速度又加大软化区域。在边坡表面设置护坡不但能有效地防止即使是分散性黏土的淘刷,还在不同程度上抑制或推迟表层滑坡和粉土的冻胀。文中建议的确定挖方渠坡抗剪强度的方法与国内流行方法略有差别。

     

    Abstract: The cut slope loses its stability more frequently than the filled one during the operation of cohesive canals. The denser the soil and the deeper the excavation, the more frequently the slide occurs because of the swelling and softening of soils under the action of unloading. The expansive soils intensify the loss of shear strength, and the stiff-fissure clay accelerates the loss of strength as well as enlarges the softening zone. Slope protection placed on the bank surface not only effectively prevents the surface erosion even for dispersive clay, but also in certain degree restricts the expansion of soils, as a result, the superficial slide decreases. Moreover, the slope protection may reduce the frost action of silty soils. The proposed method for determining the shear strength of cohesive cut slopes is somewhat different from the current method used in China.
