Abstract:
The determination of temperature of drilling cuttings to judge the danger of rock burst is a new approach. Considering the stress and physical mechanics of the coal, this approach can be adopted to forecast the occurrence of rock burst, which has many irreplaceable advantages of the traditional methods, and it may have great development. The temperature of drilling cuttings includes bit temperature, borehole temperature and cinder temperature. Theoretical analysis and experimental study are combined to summarize the variation rules of temperature of drilling cuttings it increases with the increase of coal strength and stress, but it decreases with the increase of advancing speed. The variation rules of temperature of drilling cuttings are consistent with those of the coal stress and coal mass. The results may be useful theoretically and experimentally for dynamic disasters of coal mines.
