Abstract:
Rapid urbanization process brings development of large-scale excavation engineering in cities. The application of composite soil-nailing wall has attracted great attention because of its advantages such as security and low price. The displacement deformations of excavations under different working conditions and prestresses are gained, and a comparison of supporting effects between common soil nailing-wall and composite soil-nailing wall is performed through excavation process simulation by means of the software MADIS/GTS according to engineering practices. It may provide reference for similar projects.
