Abstract:
The seismic analysis of slope stability is carried out by combining the finite element method and the pseudo-static method. The slope anchor is modeled by the link element and the prestress state is modeled by applying nodal forces to the element. The method is employed to analyze a high rock slope in the western region of China. The distribution of the internal force of the prestressed anchors and the slope displacement are obtained. The safety factor along the critical joint plane is calculated by using an in-house code. The influences of the relation among the anchorage angle, anchorage length, spacing of anchors and structural plane of the slope on the displacement and stability of the slope under earthquakes are also studied. Based on the above research, the optimal prestressed anchor scheme is proposed and verified by 2D and 3D tests.
