Attenuation relationship of ground motion for Wenchuan Earthquake region based on NGA model

  • 摘要: 基于汶川地震 64 个余震强震动记录数据,结合 NGA 衰减关系模型以及一维场地非线性反应模型,应用基于最大可能性估计的统计算法,对峰值加速度、峰值速度、峰值位移以及不同周期的加速度反应谱进行了衰减关系研究。得到了汶川地震区基岩场地以及各类土层场地的地震动衰减关系。与其他人的研究成果对比,表明 NGA 模型衰减关系估计的基岩场地地震动相对较低,而估计的土层场地地震动相对较高。

     

    Abstract: Strong motion records of 64 Wenchuan Earthquake aftershocks are processed. Using the NGA model and 1D nonlinear site response analysis model, the attenuation relationships of ground motion for Wenchuan Earthquake region on various site classes are extracted from the records. The attenuation relationships are presented in terms of the peak ground accelerations, peak ground velocities and spectral accelerations for several periods. In comparison with other research results, it is shown that the predicted ground motions from NGA model are lower on rock sites but higher on soil sites.
