Abstract:
The self-enlarging diving casing cast-in-place pile(SDCC pile) was a new style of piles, and it was developed from the traditional tube-sinking cast-in-situ piles. The construction technology of the SDCC pile was introduced. On the basis of the static load tests and axial force tests, the transferring law of axial force and the action of lateral friction resistance of the SDCC pile and the ordinary pile in soft clay were analyzed by comparison. The bearing behavior and the load transfer mechanism of the SDCC pile were discussed.Compared with the ordinary tube-sinking cast-in-situ pile,it was concluded that the SDCC pile could improve the bearing capacity and reduce the settlement effectively, and was of preferable engineering application value. The research results provided theoretical basis for its application.
