Abstract:
Because of the rheological characteristics of soft clay,the time effect should be considered when the influence of excavation on adjacent pile foundations was analyzed.A constitutive model considering creep and FEM were used to calculate and analyze the mechanical and deformation properties of single pile adjacent to deep excavation.It was indicated that deformation and bending moment of pile would increase largely when the creep characteristics of soil were considered;after the completion of excavation,the deformation and bending moment of adjacent pile would continue to increase,exhibiting obvious time effect.Through studies on parameters,the influence of the constitutive model,stress history,distance between piles and pits,excavating speed and dewatering on the mechanical and deformation properties of pile foundations were investigated.
